Tallgrass: Ringing in the New Year
As the New Year gets in to full swing, we couldn't help but take a minute to reflect on the year that has past and the year coming up. It's hard to believe that 8 months has gone so fast. We're looking forward to the next 4 for our 1 year anniversary and the coming twelve following the calendar year. Normally we like to keep these short, but this is worth the celebration!
First off we couldn't be more blessed with the support from Columbia community. The people, the organizations and businesses that have been so generous to us. To our friends and family who have kept us going and supported us in more ways than can ever be repaid. We've learned a few things along the way as well. So thank you from the bottom of our hearts to learn and grow with us.
What are some of the successes we can celebrate together. We've been able to give back to the community with well over a thousand dollars in support. You may have noticed 6 new freezers in the lobby fretting you with hundreds of new products developed. Two new coolers with tens of new products to boot! Too many new additions to our line-up to count. We've established 5 new bundle packages each wildly interesting and different from the other. We've also starting carrying 6 everyday bundles you may have to keep your eye on in the store to see. Norm is working on mysterious new ones all the time. Several new pieces of equipment to help meet growing demand and improve quality. The honor to establish partnerships with local businesses and producers to bring their goods to market and share their story!!! Additionally, we have had the privilege to add to our team! We want the store to be an experience and it's about the people we have relationship with and connection to their food, we see that coming to life everyday!
The year ahead....we'll to keep it simple and add to the discoveries to come, we are hoping to add several new features to the interior, keep your eyes peeled. Continue expansion of retail space for our products and specifically our local products and specialty house made products. You'll find us in a few new partnerships with local business, where Tallgrass? Product selection will continue to grow :). Cinnamon roll bacon anyone! Yes, it's real! Charcuterie and butcher classes coming mid year. We have some aggressive goals and embracing the opportunity to serve as Columbia's local, crafted, "Butcher in the Backyard."
Stay hungry y'all "One Steak at a time."
